The build date was September 1966. Car/chassis number is H-BJ8-L/32757, engine number 29K-RU-H/7746, body number 77617. This is a numbers matching car. The car comes with a certified copy of a factory record issued by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust. This Healey went through a complete restoration over a 3-4 year period beginning in 2008. The body was completely restored, the drive train rebuilt, interior was authentically restored with original leathers, pads and carpets. The chrome is flawless. Optional equipment included an adjustable steering wheel, overdrive transmission, heater, wire wheels, seat belts, and factory radio. Everything on the car is correct down to all the right hardware. The car runs very well, powered by the Austin 2912 cc in-line 6 cylinder with twin S.U. type HD8 carbs (series BJ8). The car has the distinctive Healey exhaust sound, overdrive snaps in and out very nicely. Tires are Metric Euro radials.
